Jericho VII was a UNSC colony world. It was located in the Lambda Serpentis System. It was a practical paradise, green expanses of oceans and wide rolling plains of palmgrass. It also had four silver moons.[1] It was home to a smattering of human colonies.

In 2525, the Spartans went to Jericho VII to put down rebel factions on the planet.[2]

It was completely destroyed by the Covenant in February of 2535, during the Battle of Jericho VII. The Spartans were there again with Marine support, fighting for three straight days. Though successful on the ground, superior Covenant naval forces prevailed, and the Spartans were forced to retreat while the Covenant glassed the world.

It was the sole producer of Alt Burgundy, a delicacy among alcoholic drinks, now very rare.[3]
