Headquarters (HQ) denotes the location where most, if not all, of the important functions of an organization are coordinated, or in which allied forces can gather together and discuss various political and/or military situations. A modern day example of this is the United Nations headquarters located in New York City in the United States.[1]
Examples
- The human colony of Reach served as the United Nations Space Command's military powerhouse, until it was glassed by the Covenant during the Fall of Reach.[2]
- HIGHCOM Facility Bravo-6 in Sydney, Australia serves as the headquarters of the UNSC Security Council.[3]
