Deference of Darkness

Deference of Darkness is an achievement in Halo: The Master Chief Collection. This achievement is obtained by completing any Halo 3: ODST level without activating VISR mode.

While the achievement can be done in any level, it is most easily done on the level either Tayari Plaza or Uplift Reserve, which is a relatively short level that lacks darkened indoor areas and its bright outdoor lighting makes VISR mode almost detrimental to the player.

Trivia[edit]

The achievement's name is derived from a similarly named track from the Halo 3: ODST Original Soundtrack, Deference for Darkness.
