Dale was a citizen living in Gladsheim on the planet Harvest.[1]
When the Jiralhanae cruiser, Rapid Conversion, attacked Gladsheim, he, his son Leif, and Gladsheim's other civilians were evacuated by Mack, the planet's agricultural operations AI. It's possible that he and Leif escaped Harvest via the Tiara, unless they were on the seventh strand, which collapsed, killing about 250,000 people. His true fate is unknown.
