Template:Ratings Aszod was a location on the planet Reach at Eposz, most likely a city or state. The region was home to a ship-breaking facility, where the UNSC Pillar of Autumn was dry-docked during the Fall of Reach. During the final stages of the battle, Aszod was the only off-planet extraction point left on the continent.[1] It was the site of Emile-A239's death and Noble Six's last stand after delivering Cortana to the Pillar of Autumn. The Spartan stayed behind to defend the Autumn from a massive Covenant air assault,[2] and was killed in action at the site, having been overwhelmed by Covenant infantry.[3]
