M914 Recovery Vehicle

Template:Vehicle Infobox The M914 Recovery Vehicle[1] is a variant of the M12 Warthog that is outfitted for recovery of damaged vehicles.[1]
Description
Unlike its standard variant, the M914 is utilitarian by nature, the M914 Recovery Transport is a rare variant designed for extraction of Warthogs that have become immobilized, and for use as a mobile repair bay.[1] It is a faster, stripped down version of the Warthog, built for troop and equipment recovery.[2]
Production notes
The M868 model was originally developed for inclusion in Halo 2, alongside the M862 Arctic Warthog and M868 Tropic Warthog variants. These models were cut from the game's development, however, with a screenshot of them (shown below) released on Bungie.net. The M914 Warthog was later given canon status in the Halo Encyclopedia[2] and later Halo Waypoint Warthog article.[1]
