Zulu Red

Zulu Red was the designation given by Jai-006 to the members of a joint UNSC-Swords of Sanghelios strike team during the Battle of Boundary who proceeded into Tyrrhen while Zulu Blue cleared out a section of Banished artillery for exfiltration. It was made up of Gray Team, Spartans David McEndon, Stefan Vidalin and Merrick as well as Blademaster Vul 'Soran, Tul 'Juran and Stolt.[1]
'Soran and Merrick later betrayed the rest of the team, killing Vidalin and injuring Jai, Adriana-111 and McEndon before 'Soran fled, and Merrick was killed by Michael-120 and Stolt.[2]
The injured McEndon later gave his life to save Stolt from being suffocated by rubble.[3] Having been picked up by Condor Zulu Seven Nine, Gray Team arrived in time to help 'Juran rescue Stolt from Covenant soldiers. The remaining members of Zulu Red and Zulu Blue then headed for the UNSC Victory of Samothrace's crash site to help the survivors.[4]
