Hah, yeah you're welcome. As to me being Regret, I don't know, I like to be concise and to the point when talking, so I just say it like it is, and some people misconstrue it as me being mad at them or something. Besides, it sounds cool that the three active admins resemble the three high prophets in an obscure way. Ok. I don't want to butcher it (I hate it when that happens) but i'll let you in on the inaccuracies I see...most of which are just with rank.

1. Lima Company should be headed by a Captain. A Company should be led by a Captain UNLESS it is very big, then it would be led by a Major. Under him would be 4-6 First Lieutenants under him commanding platoons, with 2-3 Second Lieutenants under each of them. Also The senior NCO would be ranked First Sergeant or higher.
2. 3rd Batallion would be led by a Lieutenant Colonel. Generals command much larger forces.
3. Team members usually do not get "tags" like "Bravo 1" "Bravo 2" etc. That's reserved for vehicles.
4. Admiral is a navy rank. The Air Force is led by Generals.
5. Special Forces units normally consist of senior NCOs, and Lieutenant Colonels almost never lead ground ops.
6. Military time goes date, month, year. The dates on the after action report should be 31 Feb. 2000, and 0800 Hours 22 Feb. 2000,

1. The ranks are deliberately inflated. =D Yeah, I know that Companies are led by Captains...but, ya know, these are my Halopedian pals? Me likes to give 'em high ranks on purpose. Many thanks for catching that, but it was part of my scheme. =D
2. My military idiocity is exemplified by adding tags to team members. =D What would be the better way to label members? =D
3. Regarding the admiral thingie, I was thinking about that...but I wasn't sure. I'll change that, as well as military time.

Thanks for taking all tha time reviewing it! =D How'dya like it? I wrote most of it in school rather hastily, so the grammar is far from what I normally go, but does the plot work out well?

Thanks. =D I've made way better writings,but those don't have to deal with the intricacies of Halopedians, so, me. =D Yeah, and my writings were on the Lima Company page, when...it's complicated. I placed something at the top of the L.C. page linking it to mine - in case peeps followed the link. That was promptly removed and replaced with a DO NOT EDIT sign. Wierd. Covenant of Halopedia

I've created my own political group here. A group dedicated to protecting covenant pages, and the "Covenant" for all the users that have Covenant fanon. I wanted to extend an offer to you to join. Cheating on HotM

I removed three votes because they were IP addresses, but I just realized something; 67.15.221.2 has voted as BSP and EvilWays, which definitely means either that Forerunner's cheating or that someone else (Yamanba, maybe) was cheating for him. In the book, there was another scarab on Earth, in Havana, the one that Will destroyed. It was called "Scarab Attack walker" or something like that, I believe; and the Covenant's purpose at Havana to to secure the elevator above ground. That, coupled with the description from the HGN, the Scarabs are definately assault walkers designed to clear out Human interference on a large scale before ground troops move in, just like the tripods on "War of the Worlds" -ED 01:13, 15 March 2007 (UTC)

I don't supose that you know how to make images links, do you? For example, the following is a normal link:

Yeah, you just add a colon before the first letter in the link, like this: [[File:Halo.jpg, the result is a direct link, like this: [[File:Halo.jpg. This also works for categories. -ED 19:11, 19 March 2007 (UTC)

General Disclaimer

Do you know if we can edit the bar at the bottom of the pages? right now it just says "About Wikia", "Terms of use" etc, but on old.halopedia we had the Halopedia:General disclaimer|General Disclaimer]] down there. How do I change the footer?

To add or remove items from the footer on your MediaWiki page[1], you must edit the skin.

For example: if you go in to MonoBook.php (located by default in the "Skins" folder) you will find the following code:

 $footerlinks = array(
   'lastmod', 'viewcount', 'numberofwatchingusers', 'credits', 'copyright',
   'privacy', 'about', 'disclaimer', 'tagline',
  );

In the above you can simply add and remove items from the footer that you wish to appear in your footer. Remember the changes may not appear immediatly because of MediaWiki caches.

You can also customize the individual items by modifying certain pages or parameters:

• lastmod - edit MediaWiki:Lastmodified
• viewcount - edit MediaWiki:Viewcount
• numberofwatchingusers - edit MediaWiki:Number of watching users pageview. This only appears if you also add $wgPageShowWatchingUsers = true; to LocalSettings.php.
