The '''Armory''' is a type of structure built and operated by the [[United Nations Space Command]] as part of their modular [[firebase]]s.{{Ref/Game|Id=PL|HW2|Phoenix Logs|Detail=Field Armory}} They serve as lighter, air-transportable equivalents to the larger and more permanent [[UNSC Field Armory|Field Armory]] structures on larger bases, or the [[Covenant Temple|Temples]] and [[Banished War Council|War Councils]] of the [[Covenant]] and [[Banished]].

==Overview==
Armories contain advanced manufacturing modules, electronic support measures, specialised machinery, and robotic assemblers needed to support the logistical upgrades provided by [[Isabel]] for {{UNSCShip|Spirit of Fire}} during [[Second Ark Conflict|its war]] on [[Installation 00]]. They also contain communication and sensor systems to expand a force commander's options when assembling [[battle group]]s.{{Ref/Reuse|PL}}

Unlike their larger Field Armory cousins, Armories are air-transportable, and can be deployed in the field by via [[D77 Pelican]] [[dropship]].

Armories were introduced in ''[[Halo Wars 2]]'' to replace the [[UNSC Field Armory|Field Armories]] from the [[Halo Wars|first game]]. They function similarly, providing army-wide research and upgrade options including buffs to base defences and {{HW2Pop|population}} cap. However, with ''Halo Wars 2''{{'}}s changes to [[leader power]]s, those are now located in their own dedicated menu rather than researched in the Armory.

Armories require a Tech Level of 1 to construct, and cost {{HW2Supplies|100}} and {{HW2Power|150}}.

The Armory is also used to train Hero units and the UNSC's Super unit, the [[G81 Condor]].
