Why is her roommate a guy? I thought academies separated genders. Bioniclepluslotr 09:06, 13 October 2012 (EDT)

This, but after 510 years. I guess. —S331 Bubbleshieldhud.svg(COMMission LogProfile) 10:47, 13 October 2012 (EDT)

Why would a girl of this background (i.e. Mother: Secretary of FLEETCOM, Father: high ranking officer.) be training as a non-commissioned cadet rather than an officer? --Felix-119 14:33, 24 October 2012 (EDT)

Those at Corbulo Academy are being trained as commissioned officers. NCO's advance through the ranks after they've served as junior enlisted. Grizzlei

Anyone wonder why she seems to be training to be a Marine/Army officer even though her parents were high-ranking Swabbies?

It seems to me that the UNSC has adopted a joint training programme of some sorts. UNSC Navy personnel seem to be expected to see more ground combat than we'd expect of modern naval officers: In The Cole Protocol, Keyes reminisces about being in a Pelican making an assault, and he handles himself quite well on Charybdis IX and Installation 04. Modern amphibious assaults see many dozens of Naval personnel working alongside Marines as Corpsmen, pilots, engineers, and gunfire coordinators. Furthermore, at this point the UNSC was still fighting the Insurrection, which was primarily a land war: It makes no sense to have hundreds of trained officers and men who are not required in space, so instead you train them to deploy on the surface. A parallel can probably be drawn with the Royal Naval Division of World War I.--The All-knowing Sith'ari 10:52, 2 December 2012 (EST)

"Secretary at FLEETCOM?" Shouldn't Dimahs mother be an Admiral?

Personality[edit]

Dimah seems to be a bit more timid then the rest of the cadets considering she was the only one that got on the elevator. Any reasons for this, like due to her "magic mommy?" Tex the Spartan

Maybe, but she is also full of herself, using her mother's status to grant herself special access to the elevator and threatening a marine.262VigilantGuardian (talk) 00:08, 9 January 2013 (EST)

I honestly think it was more fear, and not an indication to her personality under normal conditions. Keep in mind that in all likeliness she knew what the ONI transmission were about, and knew about the Covenant through her mother. That would terrify anyone in her situation to pull some strings to try and get out.Ocean Soul (talk) 18:25, 12 August 2013 (EDT)

Dog Tags[edit]

Kat de Liva just posted a picture of Dimah's tags on her Facebook page. Birthday: 01/07/2512 (is that January 7th or July 1st?) on Reach, blood type AB Negative. I hope this link works: [1] Alex T Snow (talk) 15:54, 11 July 2013 (EDT)

Eh, I'd rather it come from the developer than a Facebook page before saying it's official.--Spartacus TalkContribs 16:18, 11 July 2013 (EDT)
Well if it's the tag she had during the film production, I guess it's canon. Plus it matches with her birthplace and doesn't contradict anything. Imrane-117 (talk) 16:23, 11 July 2013 (EDT)
Yeah, it's just a personal picture of the tags, as she apparently got to keep them. And thanks for fixing the link for me :) Alex T Snow (talk) 17:15, 11 July 2013 (EDT)
