Talk:2559

Date[edit]

Unless I am misreading the response, the Catalog claims that the shipmaster returned to Kholo on March 3, 2558. - NightHammer (talk) 12:11, 7 July 2014 (EDT)

I think Catalog means he can't talk about events post-March 3, 2558. --They're coming. They're hungry. (talk) 12:31, 7 July 2014 (EDT)
Right, I did read it wrong. Yeah, that makes sense. - NightHammer (talk) 13:00, 7 July 2014 (EDT)

Regarding the year, the exact quote from the book is: "six years after the High Prophet of Truth (...) died" (Volume II, page 328). This would be December, 2558. This is obviously an approximation, but with the whole Created madness, I'd rather stick with 2558. We may have made a mistake. Imrane-117 (talk) 16:11, 20 February 2016 (EST)

Well we could go around and change all links from 2559 to December, 2558. But it kind of feels like guess work either way we handle it. Due to the UEG not recolonizing Kholo the Created likely had no interest in the system.Sith Venator Mega Blastoise.gif (Dank Memes) 18:43, 22 February 2016 (EST)
I'd wait a little bit, maybe Grim or Catalog will finally tackle this subject in the future. So far they've kind of avoided it. Imrane-117 (talk) 18:53, 22 February 2016 (EST)
There is an upcoming Kholo article to be added to the Halo Waypoint Locations category of the Universe section. Maybe we will find out there. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 19:58, 22 February 2016 (EST)
How can you tell what articles are up and coming? -Japeth555
Sometimes, these future pages pop-up by mistake, like the Mjolnir one. --They're coming. They're hungry. (talk) 20:21, 22 February 2016 (EST)

Was a Kholo article ever announced for real? I remember Grim once mentioned new info coming up concerning a glassed planet, but I thought it was about Meridian as it was around the period the Ghosts of Meridian update was being teased. Imrane-117 (talk) 17:19, 29 April 2016 (EDT)

I remember the Kholo article in Halo Waypoint was uploaded by mistake but it only had an image of the glassed planet taken from "The Return", but it was removed later.--They're coming. They're hungry. (talk) 18:41, 29 April 2016 (EDT)
Yep, that's where I saw it. It's happened before, namely the Mjolnir article. --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 19:13, 29 April 2016 (EDT)

Dates subject to change[edit]

The dates given in the Phoenix Logs are all over the place and it is impossible to make them all fit together. This is just so everyone knows that Grim is apparently going to be fixing everything and updating the dates in the game. Things are tentative for the moment.—This unsigned comment was made by Japeth555 (talkcontribs). Please sign your posts with ~~~~

Doisac[edit]

Trying to narrow down when this might have happened. In Halo: Divine Wind, following Shadows of Reach, there isn’t any mention of the destruction of Doisac, despite the point of view from multiple Jiralhanae who have been in direct communication with Atriox. From this, we can potentially narrow down that it happened shortly after Atriox arrived back in-Galaxy. Castor wouldn't have known because he left for the Ark immediately after Atriox had arrived. The Banished still on the Ark wouldn't know, as there was no communication. But Escharum knew; in his logs he laments Doisac. He knew, because he was still there with Atriox. And following that event, Atriox directly pursued Cortana to kill her. Meaning that Doisac was very likely destroyed somewhere between October 12 and December 11 of 2559.--The Ragin Pagan (talk) 06:55, January 5, 2022 (EST)
