Sbaolekgolo is a subsistence gestalt of Lekgolo, and one of the six specific gestalt types known to the Covenant.[1] Sbaolekgolo are large gestalts of Dipholekgolo used in excavation platforms.[4] It is most notably used to operate Za'zayara-pattern Harvesters.[2][4]

Sbaolekgolo is a subsistence gestalt of Lekgolo. Like other known Lekgolo colonies, the Sbaolekgolo was utilized by the Covenant and its remnants to fit specific functional purposes, while differing in mass, size, and complexity from other gestalts.[1] Compared to the more orange color of the Mgalekgolo, the Sbaolekgolo has a stronger tan-colored body. [5]
Sbaolekgolo were known to be used to operate Za'zayara-pattern Harvesters, using their ability to establish meta-colonies to move and drive the Harvesters under guidance.[2][3]

Discovery and usage by the Covenant[edit]
After the discovery of the Lekgolo species in 784 BCE, the Sbaolekgolo was one of six specific gestalt types discovered by the Covenant.[1] The gestalt found use in the form of operating Za'zayara-pattern Harvesters.[2][3]
