[[Atriox]]'s [[Banished]] had united the Jiralhanae clans across [[Doisac]] and its moons,{{Ref/Book|Id=Enc22p446|Enc22|Page=446}} though there were clans, such as those on [[Warial]], who refused to join the Banished,{{Ref/Book|Id=Enc22p447|Enc22|Page=447}} as they considered the Banished to be too similar to the [[Covenant]] and were wary of any alliance that resembled the former empire.{{Ref/Reuse|Enc22p447}}

===Created uprising===
[[Cortana]] and her [[Created]] came to power in [[2558#October|October 2558]]. They subdued the galaxy with their [[Forerunner]] constructs known as [[Guardian Custode|Guardians]], seeking to enforce a martial peace. The [[Sangheili-Jiralhanae war]] raged on,{{Ref/Anthology|Evo|The Return}} and [[Jiralhanae]] infighting between their various [[master-pack]]s and smaller [[clan]]s continued as well.{{Ref/Book|Id=Enc22p195|Enc22|Page=195}} This violence made the [[Oth Sonin system]] a hotspot for the Created to subdue.

The Banished and its allied clans staged a defensive against the Created in their home system. They fought hard against Cortana's forces.{{Ref/Reuse|Enc22p446}} 

Atriox himself having previously been on the Ark,{{Ref/Game|HW2}} returned to the galaxy following the events of [[Operation: WOLFE]] and was preparing a force to head to [[Installation 07]] to find the [[Xalanyn]].{{Ref/Novel|SoR|Epilogue}}{{Ref/Book|Enc22|Page=423}}

==Razing==

Cortana eventually confronted Atriox off world and issued him an ultimatum for his Banished to surrender by asking him where he stood. Atriox responded "With the Banished. Always. Forever". Cortana asked the warmaster a second time if he understood the consequences, to which he confirmed. A hologram of Doisac was shown to Atriox as Cortana asked him to look at his homeworld one last time and remember that he chose the fate of his planet. The destruction of Doisac by the firing of eight Guardian beams was broadcast to Atriox in the hologram.{{Ref/Level|Id=Rep|Halo Infinite|Repository (Halo Infinite level)|Repository}} 

At the same time as this, [[Severan]] of the Banished was on Warial gathering forces for combat against various targets. He and the other Jiralhanae there would witness the planet being destroyed. In reaction, he ordered the [[Vanguard of Zaladon]] to evacuate as many as they could and to flee the doomed moon.{{Ref/Reuse|ET8}}

The blast would also devastate [[Teash]], [[Warial]], and [[Soirapt]]. The outposts across Warial were destroyed, though a few hundred thousand Jiralhanae managed to evacuate.{{Ref/Reuse|Enc22p447}} Teash was able to destroy some of the incoming debris of Doisac with anti-ship artillery and thousands of vessels escaped.{{Ref/Reuse|Enc22p447}}

The surviving Jiralhanae that managed to escape, began finding new places in the galaxy to live. [[Lydus]] and his [[Children of Oth Sonin]] took refuge on an abandoned human colony world, while others of his clan allegedly continued to lurk in the shadows of their home system.{{Ref/Book|Id=Enc22p533|Enc22|Page=247}} The Banished sought to make [[Installation 07]] their faction's new home.{{Ref/Game|Id=hi|Hi|Detail=[[campaign]] gameplay}} Jiralhanae survivors from Teash relocated to the worlds of [[Gathved]], [[Ordun Dal]], and [[Savadok]].{{Ref/Book|Id=Enc22p447|Enc22|Page=447}}

Moments after destruction of Doisac, Severan would be contacted by [[Escharum]], who informed of what had happened and told him to rally the Banished home fleet to raze Earth in retribution of Cortana's creators.{{Ref/Reuse|ET8}} Although the attack was ultimatly abandoned in favor of unearthing the [[Lithos]] on [[Boundary]] after Cortana sacrificed herself,{{Ref/Novel|ET|Chapter=20}}, many among the Banished continued to seek Earth's destruction.{{Ref/Novel|EoD|Chapter=7}}

Three days after the razing, word of the world's destruction had reached [[Sanghelios]]. The razing had an effect on [[Arbiter]] [[Thel 'Vadam]]'s approach to dealing with local Created [[Armiger]]s while he suspected that many Sangheili [[Kaidon|high kaidon]]s appreciated Cortana's enforcement of "peace" for protecting them from the Jiralhanae threat.{{Ref/Novel|Out|Chapter=1}}

[[Jengo Farouk]] back on [[Earth]] had acquired footage of the event from the perspective of the [[Children of Oth Sonin]]. Working with the [[Peoples' Resistance of Mombasa]], he would task [[Safina Nyakundi]] to broadcast this footage uncensored to the public.
