Krel is a Yonhet barkeep living on the colony world of Venezia. He is the proprietor of "The Baggage Claim", an improvised bar operating on the outskirts of New Tyne.[1]
Biography[edit]
Krel, as with many Yonhet, moved to Venezia following the cessation of hostilities at the end of the Human-Covenant War. In the earlier years of the post-war era, Krel's family lived in camps and were subject to raids from hostile warlords who sought to steal the camp's children, though these raids were eventually put down thanks to the actions of the "Baron", Mvon 'Sraom.[1]
Where many of his people sought to ingratiate themselves with society on the world by becoming arms and information dealers, Krel instead sought to provide something he viewed as more valuable: distraction. Krel ultimately went on to establish his bar in the remains of an old BXR Mining Corporation container around 100 kilometres (62 mi) outside New Tyne and considered himself in a permanent debt to 'Sroam, refusing to accept the Sangheili's money.[1]
