'''Kikowani''' was a district of the city of [[New Mombasa]], [[Kenya]], [[Earth]]. It was located on the northeastern side of the city, next to the large seawall surrounding the [[Mombasa|Mombasa island]]. Just beside Kikowani to the southeast were the [[New Mombasa City Centre|city center]] and [[Tanaga]].{{Ref/Reuse|kikowani}}

==History==
During the [[Covenant Empire|Covenant]] [[Battle of Mombasa|attack]] on the city in the [[Battle of Earth]], the area was flooded. Numerous [[Huragok Recharge Station]]s were deployed to the area by the Covenant.{{Ref/Reuse|kikowani}}

A battle also took place here, between [[Alpha-Nine|a squad]] of [[Orbital Drop Shock Trooper|ODSTs]], and a large number of Covenant forces, including a [[Deutoros-pattern Scarab|Scarab]]. During the battle, the ODSTs destroyed multiple Huragok Recharge Stations, as well as most of the Covenant forces present in the area, before flying out of the city through a tunnel in a stolen [[Phantom]] dropship.{{Ref/Reuse|kikowani}}

A variety of companies had buildings in Kikowani. These include [[Vyrant Telecom]], [[AMG Transport Dynamics]], [[EnerGuide]]. [[Tecnniqe]], and [[AMG Transport Dynamics]] operated various offices in the district.{{Ref/Reuse|kikowani}}

==Geography==
Kikowani district contained multiple open areas, housing corporate buildings, separated by large walls with tunnels inside them. The tunnels were accessible through massive doors.
