Second Lieutenant Jason Burt was the communications officer onboard the UNSC Midsummer Night, replacing Lieutenant Dante Kirtley after he was promoted to Ops. He served onboard the ship in 2535, during the Battle of the Rubble and the Battle of Metisette.[1]

- Jason Burt was a Navy officer, and would therefore not be a Second Lieutenant. He was most likely a Lieutenant Junior Grade or an Ensign, the Navy equivalent to 2nd Lt.
