Hatalmas Sea

The Hatalmas Sea was a body of water on the human Inner Colony world of Reach. The sea was symmetrical and surrounded by the supercontinent of Eposz.[1]
History
Ancient past
The sea was formed by a blast crater in the planet's ancient past.[1]
Human-Covenant war

During the Fall of Reach, James-005 spotted the sea from orbit while en route to Gamma Station.[1]
Trivia
Hatalmas is the Hungarian word for 'powerful'.
