Development[edit]
This section is a stub. You can help Halopedia by expanding it.
The original line of Halo comics were developed by Marvel Comics in conjunction with Bungie, starting with the Halo Graphic Novel in 2006. With the exception of small comics for specific game marketing which were handled directly by the relevant game developers within Microsoft Game Studios, Marvel oversaw the release of all Halo comics between 2006 and 2012. In 2013, the production of Halo comics was taken over by Dark Horse Comics, who have worked with Halo Studios since to publish all Halo comics alongside merchandise and other reference books like the Halo Encyclopedia (2022 edition) and the art books. In 2019 Dark Horse did a rerun of all of Marvel's earlier Halo comics.
