Xbox.com is the official Microsoft website for the Xbox, Xbox 360, and Xbox One consoles, as well as the online gaming service Xbox Live. It has pages detailing popular Xbox games, including the Halo franchise portal Halo Waypoint which serves as the hub for all the Halo games, Halo-related news and information.

Overview[edit]

Prior to the release of Halo Waypoint, Xbox.com housed individual pages for each of the Halo games, which have since been merged with the Waypoint site. Of note is the backstory on the Halo: Combat Evolved page, which was the first official source to describe the events that led to the formation of the UNSC as well as human colonization. Xbox.com has also been home to the marketing websites for each of the Halo games, including Believe and Jake Courage Exhibition for Halo 3 and a marketing website for Halo Wars. However, most of these have later been taken down.

Audio for the Halo 4 page

Around E3 2012, to coincide with the trailer shown at the event for Halo 4, a page with the UNSC Infinity command deck was made that took place during the crash shown in the trailer. This page had several pieces of information regarding Halo 4, including audio that described events that happened happened shortly after the crash.

Halo 2 Media player[edit]

Before Halo 2's launch, a media player skin was released to promote it.
