Wagner held the rank of Lieutenant in 2552. Lieutenant Wagner's Prowler was one of few vessels to escape the catastrophic Battle of Reach in 2552. In 2550, he had had almost a third of his body burned by Covenant plasma. He didn't scream or shed a tear when he was burnt. He did, however, shed a tear when he was debriefed about the events of the Battle of Reach with Lord Hood and Colonel James Ackerson, which was the closest thing he had ever had to a home in the Outer Colonies.[1] What became of him later is unknown.
The last time he was mentioned was when Ackerson questioned him about volunteering for a Recon on Reach, which he disliked instantly. Ackerson ordered him to get a "clean bill of medicine before returning to active duty" ASAP.
