"Brother 'Crolunee, rejoice, for the green monster is no more, banished by the righteous might of our forces. My Needler has never had truer aim. Each shard unerringly found its mark across the field of battle. Why, even now, the Unggoy make sport with the green abomination's helmet."
Ustaf 'Nbekee.

This unidentified operator was a Spartan-II supersoldier in the UNSC's Naval Special Weapons division. In a ground engagement during the Harvest campaign in February 2531, this Spartan (with no backup) engaged 25 Covenant soldiers. The Spartan killed seven Covenant soldiers but was quickly killed by the Sangheili Ustaf 'Nbekee. As a war prize, the Unggoy under 'Nbekee's command were allowed to play games with the Spartan's helmet.[1]

Identity

This Spartan's only appearance is in a brief in-game vignette on the now-defunct official Halo Wars viral website, in which the soldier's identity and gender go unmentioned. However, he or she is likely Keiichi-047, another Spartan who has gone largely unmentioned (and whose gender has not been specified) since appearing on the same website. The only reference to Keiichi since Halo Wars' release is a statement that he or she is deemed missing in action as of 2558,[2] likely in accordance with ONI Directive 930. It is also possible that this Spartan is Joseph-122, as only his and Keiichi's status following the Harvest campaign remain unaccounted for: Three Spartans had died by that time (two by suicide[3] and one in combat[4]) while the remaining 28 have been named and are known to have survived the Harvest campaign.

Trivia

This Spartan's death is similar to that of Daisy-023, who was likewise killed by a Sangheili's needler on Harvest in early 2531. However, Daisy's armor was painted red, not green, and her killer was shot almost immediately.[3]
