Template:Ratings Template:SPARTAN Infobox Thom-293 was a SPARTAN-III commando and a former member of Noble Team during the Human-Covenant War. He was killed by Covenant forces on April 22, 2552.[1]

Both Catherine-B320 and Carter-A259 took responsibility for Thom's death, unable to admit that his death was his own fault. During the mission, he had chosen to go solo and attack Covenant forces rather than wait for reinforcements.[1] He was replaced by SPARTAN-B312, another SPARTAN-III.
