The Soldier We Needed You To Be is an achievement in Halo: Reach. It is awarded for completing the campaign mode on the Normal difficulty or higher.[1]

- The achievement's name is a reference to a quote by Cortana, during the opening sequence of Halo 3; "You know me. I did my research. Watched as you became the soldier we needed you to be."[2]
