Team Katana

Team Katana was a SPARTAN-III team competing in a challenge for high honors.[1] The team contained 5 spartans but the names haven't been revealed at the moment. During the Battle of Onyx the team was captured and placed in the Forerunner equivalent of a Cryo-tube.[2] As of yet Katana has not been unfrozen as they have been placed inside The Sharpened Shield with a number of other Spartans, Doctor Halsey, and SCPO Mendez, who have no idea how to get them out.
Trivia
It is possible that two members of Team Katana died before they were put into the Slipspace Pods. If eight Spartan-III's survived the battle, and five were mentioned, then Team Katana would have to have had three.But the could still alive due to the two deaths of Holly and Dante from team saber who only have three members left. The five Katana members and the three Saber members would equal eight spartan 3's. We also know that all of team Gladius the other team in the exercise were found dead by team saber.
