Sergeant Johnson and Captain Veronica Dare arrive to interrogate the Huragok held in the facility.

The ONI orbital facility is a UNSC Naval Intelligence platform in orbit over Earth. Following the Battle of Mombasa in late October 2552, the defected Huragok, Quick to Adjust--containing the Vergil subroutine of the Superintendent--was brought to the facility for interrogation. Edward Buck and his squad guarded the Huragok for the following several weeks until Sergeant Major Avery Johnson arrived to question the creature.[1][2] As it was technically Dare's interrogation,[3] the Huragok was subsequently interrogated by ONI on information relating to the Portal at Voi. However, they were unable to obtain any actionable intelligence before the Prophet of Truth arrived in his Forerunner Dreadnought.[4] Alpha-Nine was returned to the field shortly after their stay on the station and subsequently fought in the final battles of the Covenant War.[1]

Trivia

In Halo 3: ODST, the interior of the station uses the level geometry from the Halo 3 multiplayer map Orbital. However, the two are separate locations, as Orbital is set on a civilian space station atop the Quito Space Tether.
