Biography

Following the Human-Covenant War particular strains of Mgalekgolo, of which Myriad was one pair along with the Swarmlords and Colony underwent a behavioral evolution trending towards a more individualized identity and intelligence. This was a diversion from the usual order-following hivemind of typical Mgalekgolo.[2]

During the Installation 07 conflict, the pair came under attention of the UNSC for previously having been responsible for the deaths of 2 full Spartan-IV squads. This and their increased intelligence and independence directly led to them being identified as a potential target of opportunity by the Weapon and subsequently killed by the Master Chief.[1]
