Killtastrophe

Killtastrophe is a multikill medal awarded in Halo 3 Multiplayer for killing 8 opponents within 4 seconds of each previous kill. It is represented by a blue circle with eight silver stars. This Medal is extremely hard to get because you will probably be killed before you get it. One of the best ways to earn it is to wait at a common place or doorway and when enemy's come down or come around the corner you kill them (Note: This only work if there are a large number of players). Another good way of getting this medal would be throwing a tripmine[1] into a group of enemies, since Bungie increased it's power. To further this effect, throw a grenade with the tripmine. This will cause more damage, or finish off people who have their shields down from the tripmine. There are only two medals above this prestigious medal, which are the Killpocalypse Medal and the Killionaire Medal. Whenever someone gets this, the multiplayer announcer will say the name of the medal. He will start at double and work his way up, like this: Double kill, Triple kill, Overkill, and so on.
