Private First Class Galliard[1] was a UNSC Marine from Third Squad, First Platoon, Kilo Company of E2-BAG/1/7.[2] In 2552, he participated in the Battle of Mombasa under the command of Corporal Palmer.
Biography
Battle of Mombasa
On October 20, 2552, Galliard and the rest of Third Squad were stationed in the Mtangwe Underpass, unloading equipment from M831 Troop Transports, when John-117 arrived. Moments afterward, a Wraith emerged and the Marines fell back into a sewer tunnel. However, Galliard, along with Pvt. Jemison and [[PFC] Locke, could not make it far enough into the tunnel before the Wraith fired a plasma mortar round into the sewer opening, generating a shockwave of heat and concussion. He was killed by a piece of rebar flung at a high speed by the blast that entered just below the nape of his neck and exited through the nose.[1]
