The Angler, known by the Forerunners as Eiyaa-Mahtuhaa, is a native species of Erebus VII. Vaguely similar to lizards, they have horns, tails, and short legs and arms. After humanity discovered the planet, some juvenile of these creatures were captured and studied in an ONI research facility. They were detained in tubes filled with an orange fluid, where they remained after the facility was later abandoned.[1]
