History

Rise of humanity

An insurrectionist camp was once stationed on the planet, holding prisoners they interrogated for data against the UNSC.[7]

Human-Covenant war

In 2530,[8] the planet was glassed by the Covenant[4] in the Siege of Dwarka.

Post-war

After the war, the fetcher Oliver Birch came across a relatively intact and abandoned colony ship among the planet's field of debris, CAA Butterworth. The only survivor aboard the ship was a three-legged dog, Mabel.[9]

Trivia

The planet is likely named after Dwarka, a city in India.
