Breakout is a multiplayer gametype in the Halo 5: Guardians Multiplayer Beta, dedicated to the multiplayer maps Crossfire and Trench.[1] The 4v4 match begins with players being propelled into the arena with only a single life and an objective to eliminate the opposing team. Each two minute round ends when one team completes the objective. Five rounds are needed to win the game.[2] Players begin with reduced shields and start with SMGs and Magnums.
