Birth of a Spartan
Birth of a Spartan is an achievement in Halo: Combat Evolved Anniversary and Halo: The Master Chief Collection. It is awarded for completing the campaign on Normal. It is worth 10 Gamerscore. If a player completes the campaign on the Heroic or Legendary difficulty without this achievement already earned, they will be unlocked together.
In the original game it is represented by the difficulty shield with an MA5B Assault Rifle over it; in The Master Chief Collection it is represented by concept art of a structure on the surface of Installation 04.
Trivia
The name of the achievement is a reference to the Halo: Reach viral campaign Birth of a Spartan.
