Ado 'Mortumee

Ado 'Mortumee, an Elite, was a spy for the Covenant Council of Masters. He wore blue armor, indicating that he was most likely a Minor Elite.

Biography

He was sent as a spy to observe the capture of Captain Jacob Keyes as the Human and his Bumblebee lifepod crew mates attempted to escape from the pursuing Covenant. He watched from his Banshee as Keyes was captured and the rest of the survivors killed by a group of Elites that had dropped from a Spirit.

Later he was sent to report on Field Master Noga 'Putumee's actions as the Field Master commanded an ambush of a human caravan led by First Lieutenant Melissa McKay. One of the Marines in the convoy, Lance Corporal "Snaky" Jones, a sniper, spotted and shot 'Mortumee with a Sniper Rifle as he stood next to the Field Master. The bullet went up and out the spy's head, causing it to violently explode. Noga 'Putumee managed to dodge the bullet that was meant for him, his only comment being that he would have to write the report himself. Jones had been aiming for 'Putumee, but the Active Camouflaged 'Mortumee had unknowingly been standing directly in the Lance Corporal's line of fire. This mistake led to the death of 'Mortumee in the September of 2552.
