Kroedis II was a human colony planet. At some point during the Human-Covenant War, a Minor Prophet was assassinated by the Jiralhanae chieftain Bassus, who became tired of the Prophets' manipulations; Bassus then blamed the UNSC as responsible for the Prophet's death.[1] Convinced of this statement, Covenant forces under Supreme Commander Thel 'Vadamee attacked and glassed the planet.[2][3]
