New Jerusalem

New Jerusalem was a large United Nations Space Command colony in the Human-held Cygnus System [1]. It was discovered by the Covenant and was known to be defended by the 26th Marine Expeditionary Force, who suffered 'near annihilation' in the battle.

- New Jerusalem is named after the ancient/present day city Jerusalem in Israel, located on the planet Earth.
- In Halo 3 ODST, the Rookie's bio reveals that he had fought at New Jerusalem before transferring to his then current unit.
