Pilots are near the very core of the UNSC flying every thing from Pelicans to SkyHawk's.

In the UNSC

Trained in Squadrons, their skill varies from the average Pilot to the Elite members of the 23rd Naval Air Squadron: which were first mentioned Halo: The Flood and Halo: First Strike as stationed aboard the Pillar of Autumn. Pilots are prominently featured in Halo 2 in the levels Metropolis and Outskirts, and there is a female pilot in Halo: Combat Evolved piloting a Bumblebee in the level Pillar of Autumn (Level).
