Background
Two types of Covenant destroyers have been encountered. Destroyers with a length of 1,500 meters (4,900 ft) were seen in various battles early in the Human-Covenant War,[3] and a smaller variant with a length of approximately 647 meters (2,120 ft) was present during the Battle of Sigma Octanus IV.[2]
The destroyer is extremely well-armed, boasting multiple point-defense pulse laser turrets, plasma torpedo launcher(s), a single Energy Projector, and a full complement of the deadly Seraph-class Starfighters.
This dangerous warship classification has the distinctive three huge sections of most heavier Covenant warships, mirroring the lethality of its larger cousins.
