Erebus VII is a Unified Earth Government colony world in the Erebus system. It was home to a UNSC research facility that was abandoned at some point due to unclear circumstances. A simulation of the abandoned facility was later used by the Template:UNSCship's SPARTAN-IV complement for training.[1]
The planet is at least partially covered by a large forest of spiny, vine-like trees. Its native wildlife includes a species of large, presumably carnivorous quadrupedal creature; several specimens of these creatures were kept at the abandoned UNSC facility located on the planet.
