Shipmistress Vedu 'Ehtar is a Sangheili commanding officer serving in the Swords of Sanghelios. She commands Sword of Conjunction, a A'uzr-pattern sword frigate serving in the Swords' navy under the guise of Project CRUCIBLE; a joint-task force working with the Swords' allies of the United Nations Space Command (UNSC). In March 2560, she commanded Sword of Conjunction during the Battle of Nysa, overseeing the frigate's response to a Banished invasion of the Avery J. Johnson Academy of Military Science alongside the UNSC's Mulsanne-class light frigate UNSC Fearful Symmetry.[1]
