Conscripts are basic Grunt units utilized by the [[Banished]] as light foot soldiers and cannon fodder, just like the [[Unggoy Minor]]s in the original [[Covenant]]. They serve as low-tier frontline soldiers, often deployed in large numbers while led by [[Sangheili]] or [[Jiralhanae]] squad leaders. They pose little threat individually, but pose a greater danger in larger groups led by their superiors. They panic when their leaders are slain, throwing their group into disarray. Conscripts can only advance in their rank if they show extraordinary courage and are responsible for meaningful achievements during combat.{{Ref/Reuse|enc22}}

Conscripts are equipped with regular Unggoy methane rebreathers, and utilize orange or blue pointed [[methane tank]]s and [[Unggoy combat harness|combat harnesses]]. Orange Conscripts carry {{Pattern|Rohakadu|plasma pistol}}s, while blue Conscripts carry {{Pattern|Posu'gelka|needler}}s. Both types carry plasma grenades.
