UNSC Hannibal was a Marathon-class heavy cruiser in service with the UNSC Navy.[1][2]
Service history[edit]
In 2552, Hannibal, along with many of the UNSC's finest ships, saw action and was destroyed during the Fall of Reach. The ship, along with all the lives of its crew, were lost. In the aftermath of the Battle of Reach, the Covenant began moving the wreckage of the Hannibal and the rest of the UNSC fleet into a concentrated region of space in a high, stationary orbit over Reach's northern pole.[4]
Trivia[edit]
The ship was likely named after the ancient Carthaginian military leader, Hannibal.
