Talk:Maethrillian

Is this in the Terminals?[edit]

In the library terminal, it seems that we see the ecumene council. Maybe we should add the amphieteatre picture on here. Erickyboo 19:05, 23 November 2011 (EST)

No. We don't have enough information to be sure. And also, that was clearly the Ark. Vegerot goes RAWR! Vegerot (talk) 19:11, 23 November 2011 (EST)!

Rename[edit]

Shouldn't we rename this to "Unknown Forerunner capital?" Since the name is not capitalized, that means that it is the capital, but there's a more official name for it. Vegerot goes RAWR! Vegerot (talk) 11:53, 12 December 2011 (EST)!

I always thought of it as "the capital". It's kinda odd for you to consistently refer to your capital city as "the capital". Then again, the Forerunners like using that definitive article.-- Forerunner 12:32, 12 December 2011 (EST)
It's not like someone could confuse this with another Forerunner capital, so having "unknown" or "unidentified" or anything of the sort there would be unnecessary. Since they just call it "the capital" throughout the book, the title should be fine for us. --Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 12:38, 12 December 2011 (EST)
I'm not really sure, "the capital" seems like an informal reference to it, a formal name to be revealed later perhaps, than again Jugus makes a good point. If there is a formal name for it, the article can always be renamed later. Col. Snipes450 12:43, 12 December 2011 (EST)

Rename 2[edit]

Normally I'm indifferent to renaming articles to something in an alien language, but Mythos and Fleet Battles have almost exclusively used "Maethrillian" in reference to the "Capital" while "the capital" is only used in the source media as a descriptor. I think we might as well rename it, especially considering that we have "Fate of Maethrillian" already using the name (plus Twin Jewels of Maethrillian). --NightHammer(talk)(contribs) 18:36, 17 September 2016 (EDT)
