Talk:Alpha Aurigae system

Capella[edit]

Seems as though the way Capella is mentioned, that it is the name of the colony within the system.--Commander 光环的家伙1234 Talk (Contribs) (Edits) 12:41, 24 November 2011 (EST)

Yeah, I think that makes sense, given how "Capella" and "Alpha Aurigae" are referenced separately in the same story. The reference to "Capellan vodka" also makes more sense if referring to a planet rather than the whole system.--Jugus (Talk | Contribs) 09:07, 27 November 2011 (EST)

Capella is the formal name of the star Alpha Aurigae in astronomy. It could also be called the Capella system. Also, the way it is mentioned, the system name may also be colloquially referred to as the Origami system. Naming an asteroid belt is a bit unusual. Ours between Mars and Jupiter would probably be called the Sol asteroid belt, so that may give some clues as to intentions. Origami may be the name of a second colony in the system, just as Epsilon Eridani has several colonies in-system. ScaleMaster117 (talk) 12:02, 18 June 2013 (EDT)
