Psalm of Repose

The Psalm of Repose is a piece of Covenant holy scripture that honors fallen warriors. It is one of a number of religious psalms known and sung among the adherents of the Covenant faith. In his final moments, a Sangheili Minor, fatally wounded by Avitus' Jiralhanae on Delta Halo, reflected on the Psalm of Repose. In what appears to be an instance of religious syncretism, the psalm alludes to the Hall of Eternity, the famed underworld hall from pre-Covenant Sangheili mythology that echoes with the names of dead Sangheili who died honorably.
