On [[2552#November|November 17, 2552]], the [[Forerunner]] [[Anodyne Spirit|Dreadnought]] activated the [[Excession]]. Soon after, the Fleet of Retribution traveled through the portal and arrived at [[Installation 00]] where they started their naval attack on Covenant Loyalist ships. N'tho was sent to the surface with a squad of Sangheili soldiers commanded by Thel 'Vadam to assist [[UNSC]] forces with [[Battle of the Citadel|deactivating the three shield generators]] protecting the [[Installation 00 Citadel|Citadel]]. N'tho and the rest of the squad succeeded in deactivating one of the generators while [[Spartan-II]] [[John-117]] deactivated another, however the UNSC forces in the third generator were overrun and were forced to retreat, with some being captured. In late [[2559]], three days after [[Cortana]] had [[Razing of Oth Sonin|destroyed]] the Jiralhanae homeworld of [[Doisac]], Arbiter Thel 'Vadam [[High Gathering|met]] with the [[kaidon]]s of several [[Sangheili colonies]] to propose the [[Concert of Worlds]], intending to unify the Sangheili and take their fate into their own hands rather than those of Cortana's [[Created]]. N'tho 'Sraom, Usze 'Taham, and Kola 'Baoth served as escorts to and from the meeting, which had concluded with little progress made. The four Sangheili returned to Vadam Keep in a [[Crav]] operated by N'tho. As they passed through the [[Old Borough]] in [[Vadam Valley]], the Crav was stopped by Created [[armiger]]s who were looking for participants of a nearby altercation. Although his associates were reluctant, Thel consented to a search of the Crav. During the search, the group's weapons were confiscated, much to the outrage of N'tho and the others. Understanding that striking down the armigers would likely result in a chain of events ending with the arrival of a [[Guardian Custode]], Thel had his men back down.{{Ref/Reuse|Out1}} Shortly thereafter, the group returned to Vadam Keep in N'tho's Crav. In [[2552#December|December 2552]], N'tho wore a regular [[Combat harness|Sangheili combat harness]] as opposed to the standard [[assault harness]] given to more [[Special Operations Sangheili]].
