The Grammarian was a Forerunner Promethean who served alongside the Didact, the Confirmer and the Strategos.[1] During his era prior to the Plague War he was considered one of the greatest war scholars and tacticians the Ecumene had to offer.[2]
Upon later encountering the essence of the Grammarian in the Domain, the Didact expressed a wish that his second-form mutation had been imprinted from the Grammarian instead of the Confirmer thanks to the former's strategic mastery. The Didact noted his essence to have an easily-recognisable tall frame more reminiscent of a Builder than a Warrior-Servant.[2]
Trivia
The title "grammarian" refers to a scholar of language, or linguist.
