Colonel Deen was a human officer of the United Nations Space Command's Armed Forces. In the early years of the Human-Covenant War, Deen successfully led a force that broke through a Covenant siege, gaining the colonel fame throughout the UNSC. Due to this heroic feat, a fort on the Outer Colony of Arcadia was named after Deen.[1]
