The Plasma Pistol is a weapon featured in Halo: Combat Evolved and its remaster, Combat Evolved Anniversary. It is the standard weapon used by the Grunts throughout the game, and has since gone on to appear in all subsequent games in the series.[2][3][4]

Universe and lore[edit]
- Main article: Eos'Mak-pattern plasma pistol
In the original Combat Evolved, the Plasma Pistol featured is the Eos'Mak-pattern plasma pistol, the standard sidearm of the Covenant and known to the UNSC as the Type-25 Directed Energy Pistol.[5]
In Anniversary, the weapon's model was replaced with that of the Plasma Pistol from Halo: Reach.
