This Charon-class light frigate (hull classification symbol FFG-127) was a vessel in the United Nations Space Command Seventh Fleet. It engaged the Fleet of Sacred Consecration during the Battle of Earth on October 20, 2552, but was destroyed during the battle when it was cut in half by Covenant weapons. Upon seeing the destroyed ship in Earth's low orbit during his drop into New Mombasa, Lance Corporal Kojo Agu "took back" a sarcastic remark his squad mate Private First Class Michael Crespo had previously made about the UNSC Navy's response to the Covenant threat.[1]

Production notes

  • The code "HUMILSHIP" is painted on the ship's hull. This is not the vessel's actual name but a placeholder graphic indicating HUman MILitary SHIP. It is structured much like the directory system of the game's files (ex. human/military/).
  • FFG-127 is part of the Seventh Fleet due to the "7" star emblem adorning its ventral prow. This was established with the UNSC Forward Unto Dawn entry in the Halo: The Essential Visual Guide.
