Specialised Pathfinder units are employed by the airborne troops of the UNSC Army. Pathfinders are known to prefer the FC-I configuration of a CNM and HUL when employing the Air Assault helmet.[1] The Torchbearer VISR was tailored specifically for the Pathfinders.[2]
SPARTAN-IVs sometimes conduct pathfinding operations under the Spartan Operations branch - not affiliated with the UNSC Army's Pathfinders. Spartans in this role employ an eponymously-named suit of MJOLNIR GEN2.
